About Us
A Legacy of Craftsmanship and Expertise
The story of Carole Fabrics® began in 1958 when Charles Marks founded the textile company and named it after his only daughter, Carole. Over the next 10 years, growth in the company led to producing custom soft products and expanding the facility. And by 1981, Carole Fabrics served the interior design communities in 45 states from its location in Augusta, Ga.
Since 1990, Carole Fabrics has been a nationwide company and a proud member of the Hunter Douglas® Group of Companies, the global leader in window coverings. In working with Carole Fabrics, the strength of Hunter Douglas provides you with additional reliability, innovation, and brand confidence. Carole Fabrics currently employs about 200 people.
