Our latest fabric collection is on its way to you! After one of the most challenging years for many of us, this collection has been a long time in the making. With mill closures, shipping delays and setbacks across the globe, these fabrics are ready to make their debut.
Our Spring 2021 fabric line is a collection of 11 books filled with styles that cover modern contemporary decor to lush velvets to classic traditional patterns. You'll find fitting fabrics to design your upcoming projects or add the finishing touch to your current one. We have all been ready for something new and exciting, and it's here!
Texture, Texture, Texture
Curated by color in soft neutrals and soothing blue-greens, Stone Path and Wintermint are two of our new color books that are full of texture and small‑scale designs. You'll find thicker weaves, chenille yarns, and textured overall solids with various colors and prints that make perfect accents.
A room full of subtle color can be filled with interest when using different types of textures to give that comforting and lived‑in feel. The majority of the patterns in these books also have high abrasion ratings that will allow you to use them for upholstery to help complete your look.
Velvet
Our latest velvet collection will have you running your hand over every color! Velvet Touch brings together three patterns in a range of saturated hues, softer tones and a hint of sheen.
These velvets have a soft drapery hand but just enough body to allow them to hold their shape and drape beautifully — a difficult combination to find! Suitability for upholstery applications will allow you to coordinate your Carole custom-made draperies with your furniture for a flawless match.
The pattern Plush Touch passes 235,000 double rubs and is flame retardant, making it a great option for commercial applications.
Modern and Contemporary
The Modern Edge book is full of embroideries and jacquards with strong architectural lines, and contemporary shapes and sheens that are reminiscent of metal. A subtle range of color relates to metallic finishes seen throughout the home — silvers, soft golds and hints of patina. Bold geometric patterns fill the book alongside small‑scale coordinates to pull together the perfect modern look.
Fresh and Classic Traditional
Traditional patterns and styles have always been a staple with Carole. Pink Jade, Ash Oak and Red Sea are our newest assortment of traditional patterns fashioned in both classic and refreshed color combinations. This collection offers plenty of exclusive‑to‑Carole fabrics with beautiful embroideries, jacquards and prints in both large- and small‑scale patterns. Antique rug looks, distressed damask designs and intricate florals are found throughout these books and are sure to be the focal points to your designs.
We've also seen a growing trend of layering top treatments with draperies again, another sign that traditional styles are making a comeback.
Light and Airy Views
Covering your windows adds softness and accents your room, but it can also complement your view and outdoor surroundings. Sheer Intrigue is our sheer book that can do just that in narrow width fabrics that let you achieve much longer lengths.
This collection combines basic sheers such as voiles, batistes and gauzy looks with tons of decorative options. Features include exclusive embroideries and jacquards in contemporary geometrics and delicate floral designs, all in neutral airy tones. These fabrics give you just a touch of privacy while letting you enjoy your light and surrounding views.
Everyday Living
Introducing our first performance multi-purpose drapery fabric — Commencement. This fabric has a beautiful drapery hand while it protects and withstands everyday living. With enhanced abrasion resistance and an environmentally friendly easy‑clean finish, these fabrics offer durability and protection to extend the life of your products.
The water repellent finish also has antimicrobial and antibacterial attributes. Over 40 colors range from a wide array of neutrals to vibrant saturated hues.
The Perfect Match
With all of our great new patterns this season, we have the perfect solids to match in our books On Point and Excursion.
On Point features one of our top performing solids — Autumn Breeze — and introduces a new coordinating herringbone. These two patterns are blends of cotton, polyester, viscose/rayon and linen which lends them to be stable yet drapeable and to have flecks of natural linen. This is a perfect "go‑to" solid.
Excursion is a combination of six elegant patterns in a multitude of color. Excursion features fabrics that have a touch of sheen and lots of textures allowing light to reflect and giving just the right hint of glamour. From crisp whites to warm bronzes and calming blues, this collection is a great staple and coordinate to our new Traditional book collection.
