President, Carole Fabrics
Carole Fabrics has undergone many noticeable changes over the past few years. These changes are all part of a journey the company has been on for the last decade in an effort to change the direction of our fabric assortment, as well as being more design forward and less associated solely with traditional styles of years past.
Carole has long had a reputation for offering sellable designs that hit attractive price points for custom products, and as our fabric collections have become more transitional and, dare I say, contemporary, many designers still associate us with old-school looks of yesteryear. A part of this misconception has been propagated by how we have branded ourselves over the last 25 years: color combinations, fonts, and layouts that were on point at the time they were launched. Yet they now may appear somewhat dated and out of sync with today’s styles.
Brands, in general, are developed to evoke an emotional response about the product or company they represent. They are intended to create an impression about who the company is and what it stands for. Therefore, a consumer that sees branding that appears to be outdated and out of style likely assumes the same is true of the company and products it embodies.
Our branding has not been aligned with who we are. Carole’s image needed an overhaul to better reflect our current fabric line. The attributes that define the Carole Fabrics of today can best be described as:
Our team spent many hours brainstorming the direction we needed to go. In the end, we sought a look that was simple and elegant, with neutral colors that highlight our fabrics rather than compete with them. Our brand needed to portray that extent to which we understand design. Specifically that we are on the forefront of fabrics and window coverings for almost any setting -- from simple to swanky, from understated to upscale.
We are the same great company, with the same great custom window products, and same great service and turn-around. Now with a new attitude. We are thrilled about the direction we are heading, not only with our new branding, but with new window products, fabrics, and capabilities that rival anything in the industry. If you are a current Carole customer, we hope you share in our excitement for these positive changes. If you do not use Carole today, take a look, and we hope you will become a part of the great things we have in store. It’s going to be fun!
