  • Shade is flat when completely lowered
  • Requires the least amount of stacking space for soft shades

Front Fold Roman Shade

  • Stiffener dowels sewn into pockets on the face of shade
  • Creates crisp folds with little need of dressing when raise and lowered
  • Has dimension on face of shade when completely lowered

Reverse Fold Roman Shade

  • Stiffener dowels sewn into pockets on the back of shade
  • Creates crisp folds with little need of dressing when raise and lowered
  • Pattern disruption may occur as pockets are sewn from face of shade to back, tucking pattern into folds

Hobbled Roman Shade

  • Folds remain when shade is completely lowered
  • May require dressing as shade is raised and lowered to keep folds looking voluminous
  • Pattern disruption may occur as folds overlap one another
